Martedi 28 Giugno 2016, alle ore 11:00, la Dr. TING LIN (Assistant Professor of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering at Marquette University, USA) terrà un seminario dal titolo: Multi-Hazard Sustainability: Opportunities for Investigating Hazards in Engineering.
Tutti gli interessati sono invitati a partecipare. Per avere maggiore informazioni sul seminario scrivere a fatemeh.jalayer@unina.it.

Sintesi del seminario:
Natural and anthropogenic hazards pose significant challenges to civil infrastructure. This presents opportunities in investigating site-specific hazards in structural engineering to aid mitigation and adaptation efforts. High performance computing and visualization further facilitate research and outreach for resilient and sustainable infrastructure under multiple hazards in the face of climate change.

Biografia di Ting Lin:
Assistant Professor at Marquette University with parallel tracks in earthquake engineering and climate change research. She completed her Ph.D. and M.S. in Structural Engineering from Stanford, and B.S. (Hons.) in Civil Engineering and a concentration in Architecture from Cornell University, USA.
